Why Big V? Well Big “Vincent” Johnson, welding genius and brewer, built Freewheel's stonking brewery over in England and assembled it for them in the States. To commission his baby, Brewer Malcolm and Vincent created a recipe for a great amber ale using a combination of roasted Barley and Black Malt. The richer roast bring out flavors suited to a hunk of something sizzling off the grill. Can’t go wrong with this one!
A malt-focused beer with hoppiness that runs the range from low to high. Well balanced, typically with a caramel flavor and good body.
