The 2016 Belgian Tramp Tripel was brewed as a collaboration brew between High Water Brewing and Bison Brewing Company and Uncommon Brewers. The beer was brewed using Pilsner malts, Belgian yeast, fresh local sourced persimmons and a blend of Orange Blossom and Spring Wildflower honey.
Belgians are complex and obviously have a long rich history which make them so much fun to drink. They have so many aromas and taste profiles it's difficult to list them all but they include spicy, clove, herbal, fruity. The more tart beers bring more farmyard aromas. They are typically higher in alcohol and come in many styles: Dark Ale, Pale Ale, Dubbel, Flanders, Lambic, Quadrupel (Quad), Saison/Farmhouse Ale, Tripel, Witbier.
